The eleven-track album embraces the strengths of the four accomplished musicians and the richness of their individual cultures – from traditional to modern and from Eastern to Western sounds. Co-produced by the band and Yemen Blues' New York bassist, Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz, known for his groundbreaking work with John Zorn and Yo-Yo Ma, Only Love Remains is both a very direct and visceral emotional connection and an enigmatic spiritual quest, both enlightening and questioning. In a time of dangerous political, religious, and cultural polarization and xenophobia, Yemen Blues and Only Love Remains set an example, creating a blind celebration of color and a global whirlwind of solidarity with love firmly at its pulsating heart.
