Formed in 2000 in New York, Yeah Yeah Yeah is a band caught between the Punk energy of Blondie, the Post Punk influence of Siouxsie & The Banshees, and avant-garde Pop.
After a first EP released in 2001, the band followed Jon Spencer Blues Explosion on a European tour and won the hearts of English Punk Rockers longing for powerful and energetic Rock.
It is only natural that the label Polydor would take a concrete interest in these new UFOs and release the first album in 2003.
The 3rd album from the New Yorkers, "Blitz!" was released in 2009 and marks the band's arrival with a masterful and punchy production under the guidance of producer Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Arcade Fire, Talking Heads, or PIL).
A true phenomenon on the Indie Rock scene, this record will establish itself as a must-have in the genre, and the single "Heads Will Roll" will propel it onto Rock Radio stations around the world.
