From the release of his first album, La Valse Des Monstres, each of Yann Tiersen's tracks already bore a perfectly identifiable signature. Whatever the instrument used or the form practiced, this very particular aura was always there, like artists such as Philip Glass or Erik Satie. This very particular vision would lead to many collaborations, including Shannon Wright, Bästard, Noir Désir (“A Ton Étoile”), Dominique A (who performs 2 tracks on Le Phare) or The Married Monk (Tout est Calme).
