Lux Perpetua

Description

Electronic musician Xopher Davidson releases Lux Perpetua via Daydream Library Series. A recognized advocate of Maryanne Amacher, Xopher recorded these two tracks in 2020 using vintage synthesizers in the prized music studios of Mills College in Oakland, California. His electronic sound experiments draw inspiration from painting, photography, and cinema, as well as from an interest in electronic circuits that dates back to building radios and homemade circuits during his childhood. He built and explored the sonic universe of a homemade modular synthesizer made up of laboratory equipment: various oscillators, pulse generators, filters, and an analog computer.
