Description

In the direct line of a first live album released in 2021 on Figures Libres Records, and in this need to present other tracks from the concert repertoire, we offer you a selection of them in this new album recorded during our performance at the Delyres d'été festival in Blois in August 2021, with a style that had, of course, evolved over 10 months, pushing the boat of acid neopsychedelia further, a grinder in which to revisit classics of the band on stage. The lineup that night included circumstantial changes that saw Emma Hocquellet from Les Ligerians on keyboards, Cyrille Peltier on bass in place of Fred Vialet who moved to sound and live processing of various instruments, and Zouka Dzaza absent on this date. For my part, I must admit my mischievous desire to realize a youthful fantasy of making two live albums in a row on the same "tour," like two of my heroes, Lou Reed and Zappa... Yes, my ankles are fine, thanks to compression stockings, you'll see when I take off my trousers, ahah. As for the influences and roots of this artistic approach, well, those who know, know, and the others don't need clues because it's live, and therefore we are never very sure of what we are going to do: it would not be very serious to attribute it to people we loved and who did not ask to be found guilty of such outrages. Note, an uncredited actor this time: the wind, which enjoyed randomly swirling the sound: great wind, we love you. One thing remains evident, this band optimizes the technical and inventive capabilities of each artist present, like a unique experience; it pools everyone's backgrounds to achieve a unique sound.
