Toxica
Description
WULFFLUW XCIV, one of the first non-African artists to sign with Hakuna Kulala, brings his borderless productions to the label’s Whitelabel series. The Toxica EP builds on 2020’s acclaimed Ngoma Injection’s mutant strain of fusion, stripping away the psychedelia and chrome ambiance and replacing it with pure soundsystem pressure. But this isn’t a haphazard blend of aesthetics, it’s a conversation with the world’s marginal agitators, using stylistic and rhythmic traits to highlight commonality, not exclusivity. The boundaries between dance subgenres slowly dissolve, and WULFFLUW XCIV’s genre-blending sounds like the cyberpunk carnival we'd been waiting for.Buy Toxic at the best price
