From Warwick, a small town nestled in the forests of upstate New York, Woods has been crafting shamanic pop for almost a decade. Releasing an album almost every year on their own Woodsist label (home to early Real Estate, White Fence, The Babies...), the band has carved out a unique sound, complemented by Jeremy Earl's easily recognizable falsetto voice. Since their beginnings, Woods has evolved – new members, new sonic experiments... On *With Light And With Love*, their 7th album recorded at Mexican Summer's Gary's Electric studios in Brooklyn, a piano and percussion are added to the compositions. The result is a decidedly more "pop" and deeply psychedelic album.
