It took 45 years for the album by the Belfast-native Irish band "The Wheels," led by singer and guitarist Rod Demick, to finally see the light of day. It's here. In the mid-sixties, the band achieved success with their superb version of "Gloria." THE WHEELS were then the equivalent of Van Morrison's THEM, with Morrison often joining the group. In the early seventies, Rod Demick, recognized as one of the top sidemen of the moment, joined and accompanied artists like Screaming Lord Sutch, Dr. John, The Strawbs, and the David Essex Band. The track "Road Block" is one of the greatest freakbeat/garage singles. Also noteworthy is the demo version of The Shadows Of Knight's "Bad Little Woman."
