Description
It took 45 years for the album by the Irish band from Belfast, The Wheels, led by its singer and guitarist Rod Demick, to finally see the light of day, and it’s done. In the mid-sixties, the band found success with its superb version of Gloria. THE WHEELS were then the equivalent of Van Morrison’s THEM, with the latter often joining the band. In the early seventies, Rod Demick, recognized as one of the top sidemen of the time, joined and accompanied artists such as Screaming Lord Sutch, Dr John, The Strawbs, and also the David Essex Band.
