For the first time on record, the incredible 1959 recording of legendary jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery, playing with the Eddie Higgins Trio, at the Indianapolis Jazz Society Club. Wes is of course on guitar, Eddie Higgins on piano and Walter Perkins on drums. A restoration job and, as always at Resonance, stunning editorial work! An event! The original tape was in the possession of Indianapolis photographer Duncan Schiedt, who died in 2014 and bequeathed it to the members of the Indianapolis Jazz Society Club.
