We would especially like to thank Robert Montgomery, Serene Montgomery and, more particularly, the Montgomery family for the invaluable help they provided in this research. Not to mention Quincy Jones (for his memories of some of these recordings produced by him) and his contribution to the booklet. And we are honored to play a role in the legacy of this giant of jazz.
