At WEEZER, we don't slack off. Third album in three years and their eighth album. It's Hurley, the mythical character from the series Lost who appears on the cover! There isn't necessarily logic everywhere. If WEEZER's eighth album is titled Hurley and it's the eponymous character from Lost, played by JORGE GARCIA, who appears on the cover, it doesn't mean it's a love letter to the series. While season 6 of Lost was heavily criticized by fans, WEEZER's latest album will surely be acclaimed by fans of the famous Californian rock group. The band has just signed with Epitaph Records to be more in line with their conception of music and to mark their return to indie rock. "Memories" is the first single from the album. The album also sees the gang of RIVERS CUOMO collaborating with RYAN ADAMS, and includes the track ''Time Files'', a song written by MAC DAVIS, author of the hit ''In The Ghetto'' performed by ELVIS PRESLEY in 1969.
