Wavers is an independent rock band, melodic and big-hearted, influenced by D.I.Y. punk, beloved friends, changing seasons, and a declining world. Jake writes a complex melodic bass line, Charlie adds skilled drumming and soaring harmonies, Josh's guitar triggers controlled explosions in every direction, and Rosie's voice and indie pop compositions provide a warm, humanistic center. The songs from their debut LP "Look What I Found" explore beloved friends and lovers, built and natural environments, seasonality, listening to music in cars, jumping into ever-changing rivers, and more. Some people say they sound like unique self-produced 7" records from 1995. It's raw indie rock for young punks with Discount back patches, rather than Discharge.
