Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange) is first and foremost a duo composed of Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Their harmonies are ethereal, their chemistry palpable, evoking the atmosphere of legendary duos such as Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, or Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Andrew and Emily form the foundation of the group's timeless Americana sound, while a full band enriches their sonic palette.
