Don't Let Get You Down

Description

Wajatta - the musical duo of Reggie Watts and John Tejada - is back with their second album, "Don't Let Get You Down," which will be released on Brainfeeder. Coming from different worlds but sharing a passion for the rich history of electronic music, beatboxer/comedian/musician Watts and electronic music artist/DJ/producer Tejada bring out the best of their formidable skills. While the duo's first album, "Casual High Technology," hinted at the vast stylistic possibilities inherent in the marriage of Watts' elastic and emotive voice and Tejada's layered and melodically inventive productions, "Don't Let Get You Down" fulfills that promise. "Don't Let Get You Down" crackles with the energy of fresh ideas captured in the moment of inspiration. It is organically made electronic music, by two masters at the top of their respective games.
