Description
In these circular songs inspired by Pygmy and Mongo from northern Congo, the rhythms intertwine, the voices overlap and respond, the bodies sway. Vital and repetitive pulse, source of trance, beyond the polyphonies and the richness of harmonies, it is also the complexity of the polyrhythms that gives these songs (in Lingala, in English and... in Japanese) their unique character.
