Debut album from the Mancunians W.H. Lung. They who gave their first concerts at major festivals even before they were fully prepared were already ready anyway. They give off a turnkey impression, where nothing has been left to chance and which stuns right from the start. They have anticipated all the details, all the mechanisms of a career that could quickly take off. This way of playing with the codes of pop culture, wrapping themselves in mystery, living in self-sufficiency, and creating a relationship with their audience that is more than intimate: all these are principles inherited from the Factory. Moreover, the local saying goes that things are done differently by principle in Manchester. In this local tradition of twisted, derailed, and sullied music, W.H. Lung plays indie rock that takes its time to unfold, gain momentum, and annihilate nervous systems.
