The magic of touring led us to meet Vlasta Popic, a Croatian power-trio, in a dark cellar on the Croatian-Slovenian border in 2012. While promoting their first album "Za očnjake," the three companions blew us away with their perfectly mastered contemporary grunge sound. The two atypical vocals from the drummer and guitarist, as captivating as could be, already elevated the whole. Since then, they have logged many miles and crossed several borders, finally bringing their amps to France in spring 2014 for a series of notable dates. Through this second album, "Kvadrat," Vlasta Popic once again asserts their personal reinterpretation of the style. Mixing post-punk, grunge, and even pop within a darker, devilishly addictive framework.
