In this new album, Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang highlights the repertoire of English composer Edward Elgar by emotionally performing his famous violin concerto. She describes this concerto as "such a vast work that it is more on a symphonic scale than that of a violin concerto, and that is why I take immense pleasure in playing it." Vilde recorded the concerto with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under the direction of Robin Ticciati.
