Two years after a self-titled debut album acclaimed by critics, VETIVER returns with a new album, To Find Me Gone. After long tours with DEVENDRA BANHART, ANDY CABIC, leader of a band with variable geometry, has written an album about the road, travel, and the passage of time. This album, freer and more mature than the previous one, with multiple influences, blends pastoral folk, Brazilian music from the late 60s, and 70s west coast rock. VETIVER seems to revive, without ever falling into imitation, the music of THE CARTER FAMILY, BRIGHTBLACK, RANDY NEWMAN, FLEETWOOD MAC, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, NEIL YOUNG. Alongside CABIC, this album features DEVENDRA BANHART, ALISSA ANDERSON, OTTO HAUSER, and KEVIN BARKER. The second album from one of the most talented songwriters of his generation, produced and mixed by THOM MONAHAN.
