Verses GT

Description

The pillars of electronic music Jacques Greene and Nosaj Thing join forces under the name Verses GT, a new artistic project accompanied by a debut album. With decades of experience between them — including extensive solo discographies and collaborations with artists like Tinashe, Radiohead, Bonobo, Toro y Moi, and Eartheater — these two long-time friends come together to create a powerful and tangible record, equally at home in an art gallery as in a club. Featuring contributions from George Riley, KUCKA, and TYSON, Verses GT unveils dreamy and captivating soundscapes, characteristic of both producers, while exploring a liminal sound space where it becomes difficult to distinguish where one ends and the other begins. This album seeks to return to the essentials and slow down the frantic pace of our daily lives, emphasizing authentic collaboration and a sense of total immersion.
