"Re-release of the double vinyl originally issued in 1990. Concert recorded at the Théâtre du Châtelet between December 26 and 31, 1989. Véronique Sanson is accompanied by the Prague Fysio Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Leos Svarovsky. 'It was at the Théâtre du Châtelet that Véronique Sanson saw one of her dearest dreams come true: revisiting her repertoire in an acoustic version. The opportunity was given to her thanks to the magical collaboration of the Prague Fysio Symphony Orchestra and its seventy-two musicians. The program included songs mainly from her first four studio albums, including "Amoureuse", "Christopher", "Etrange comédie" or the heartbreaking "Le Maudit", not forgetting the more recent ones such as "Je serai là", her answer to Michel Berger's moving "Seras-tu là?", "Le Temps est assassin" or "Mortelles pensées". So, when the delicate sumptuousness of the strings weds the singer's singular vibrato, her raw lyrics and ardent melodies, and because the symphonic style suits Véronique Sanson's sensitive and fragile world so well, the audience, united in the same enthusiastic fervor, succumbs to an emotion of rare intensity.
