Van Halen is an American hard rock band from Pasadena, California, formed in 1972. Eddie van Halen, Alex van Halen, Michael Anthony, and David Lee Roth rose to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It wasn't until Sammy Hagar became the lead singer that the band achieved superstar status. Hagar co-wrote mega hits like "5150", "Dreams", and "One Way To Rock" and was instrumental in shaping the legendary status of this timeless rock band.
