The band, founded by Karl Hyde and Rick Smith in 1987, has cemented its place in the global electronic music scene over time, notably with their 1996 hit Born Slippy (Nuxx), and through collaborations with numerous artists including Fatboy Slim, Adam Beyer, and Brian Eno. Underworld will embark on a UK and world tour in 2025.
