After a first attempt "Le Noir se Fait" (2020), Undervoid returns with "La Mécanique du Vide". Recorded live in the Belgian Ardennes at the magnificent Daft Studios, still under the guidance of the talented Rémi Gettliffe, this second album marks a turning point in the band's overall aesthetic, both in terms of composition and lyrics. Still driven by the passion and assertive energy that has become Undervoid's trademark, this album reveals a more introspective and atmospheric side. "La Mécanique du Vide" or the feeling of being caught in gears that are constantly accelerating towards an announced crash, as if one had to hit rock bottom to start anew, to sink into darkness to find light again. In the darkness and inertia, a dynamism is reborn and sparks fly. It's an endless gearing: the machine is launched, illuminating the void.
