For Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, the best way to cooperate with a world in turmoil was to produce new music. Easier said than done during lockdown, but the Nashville-based band rose to the challenge. 'Pressure,' their fourth studio album, features 13 tracks, including a re-recorded version of 'Crazy Days,' as well as guest appearances by Lovell (three tracks) and Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke ('Holdin' My Breath'). 'Crazy Days' was the first track to be written and recorded, a howl at the moon – engaging, optimistic, and timely. It had to be shared with as many people as possible, and it wasn't long before the quarantine-shot music video created a buzz online. With a house full of recording and playing equipment, as well as the presence of producer Roger Alan Nichols, the prospect of a 4-track EP began to emerge. And why not 6 tracks? Like all bands, The Shakedown's live schedule was put on hold, providing an opportunity to write 30 to 40 new songs and eventually write an album.
