At just twenty-five years old, he has a musical culture gargantuan enough to baffle kids nostalgic for an era they never knew: Eddie Cochran, Captain Beefheart, The Beach Boys, The Flamin' Groovies, The Thrashmen, The Kinks, The Red Krayola, Black Sabbath, The Troggs, T-Rex, The Pretty Things, Pavement, Beck... An omnivorous music lover and workaholic, he has already sung, played guitar and drums in numerous bands (Love Death, The Traditional Fools, Epsilons, Party Fowl, The Perverts, Sic Alps) and has released more than twenty recordings under his own name (including four albums), before becoming an indie phenomenon with the release of Melted (2010), a third LP that is slightly less filthy. A joyous and festive creation, lost between the raw madness of a Syd Barrett and the pantheism of a Donovan, Twins sends back scents of freedom, of simple joy where the organs and guitar solos spout their good humor and their intoxicants.
