The band Two Door Cinema Club, who left us three years ago with the EP “Changing Of The Seasons,” returns with a euphoric new album that perfectly blends their sense of pop with a fresh energy. Like the first singles “Are We Ready ? (Wreck)” and “Bad Decisions,” this third album is an ambitious electro pop rock record, reflecting the band’s desire to broaden their horizons without alienating their signature sound, and the evolution of Alex Trimble’s songwriting. Revitalized and energized by a break they imposed on themselves after several cycles of “studio - promotion - tour,” the band reunited in the studio in Los Angeles with producer Jacknife Lee (REM, U2, Bloc Party) to create “Gameshow,” probably their most captivating album.
