Since their formation in 2003 and over the course of six studio albums, Tunng has been a band that has explored the boundaries between acoustic and electronic music, becoming synonymous with the folktronica genre before settling into a territory that has managed to both escape this label and continue to redefine it. *This Is Tunng…Magpie Bites and Other Cuts* is a collection of rare gems and lesser-known Tunng tracks released from 2004 to 2018. These are the 7"s, special editions, B-sides, and hidden tracks that would otherwise have been lost to the ether, fully remastered and available on limited edition physical formats. Here, these tracks sit side by side like a band of madmen sharing their strange tales. These first double CD and double clear LP editions, limited to 1000 copies worldwide, include the 11 tracks as well as a bonus disc containing 9 even rarer tracks from the Tunng archives. The second edition will only feature the first disc.
