"After the release of my EP "Bleu Gospel," I noticed that people had a lot of compassion and trust in me, but there's a downside to that. I feel like people idealized the artist I was, thinking that 'since he suffered, he managed to get his life back on track.' But that's not the case. With my next project, "Papillon Monarque" (Monarch Butterfly), I want to explain that I no longer want to handle that pressure, that I am just one man among many who makes mistakes and does good things, but there's nothing black or white about it; it's just nuanced. The Monarch Butterfly represents these nuances, and it's a form of evolution to accept oneself as imperfect rather than trying to be perfect."
