Les Amants Terribles is Tuerie's first studio album, a project he has always envisioned and in which he no longer hides. It comes after two EPs that laid out the major themes of his life. This time, he offers the soundtrack to his true life as a man. He explores all versions of himself: that of a single father in his thirties, that of an eternally sensitive soul torn between the grief of true love and the intoxication of fleeting liaisons. Above all, the album takes on a major challenge: to create coherence between Tuerie's soulful gospel foundation, his new R&B aspirations, and nostalgic hints of 2000s Pop-Rock. He accurately portrays his contradictions, in which each of us can see a mirror reflecting our own lives. Les Amants Terribles establishes itself as an intimate and honest, yet sensitive, narrative from Tuerie to his audience.
