Conceived and recorded entirely by its members, The Weathervane Is My Body extends the resolutely DIY approach of Truck Violence, a band founded in Montreal by Karsyn Henderson and Paul Lecours after their departure from a small Canadian rural community. The nine tracks blend post-hardcore, noise rock, folk, and sludge in a writing style where banjo, abrasive guitars, and poetic lyrics convey the contrast between memories of the countryside and the experience of urban life.
