For Parking Lot Symphony, his first album on Blue Note Records, Troy Andrews enlisted the services of the famous producer Chris Seefried (Andra Day, Fitz and the Tantrums) and collaborated with composers and musicians as diverse as those from Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, the Meters, Better Than Ezra, and Dumpstaphunk. However, it was alone at home that the artist began to imagine this new album.
Troy Andrews' voice sounds better than ever on this new album, a fact that is anything but anecdotal, as Parking Lot Symphony is surely the album on which the artist exposes himself the most.
