Tove Styrke is a 22-year-old Swedish singer and model who is already being hailed as the pop revelation of 2015. Discovered through the show Swedish Idol in 2009, her notoriety allowed her to record her first independent album the following year titled "Millions Pieces," a platinum record in Sweden. The pretty Scandinavian made headlines again at the end of 2014 by unveiling a new EP "Borderline." The sound of the Swede has now matured, and the influences are multiplying, with electro-pop accompanied by reggae and groovy accents. Thanks to catchy and punchy tracks, the EP is starting to make waves and has impressed The Guardian, Dazed & Confused, The FADER Magazine, Neon Gold, Popjustice, Billboard, The Line of Best Fit... even Time defines the young artist as "The Swedish pop star you need to know this spring." Tove Styrke has recently announced the release of her second album, Kiddo, in the spring. Inspired by the name of the main character from 'Kill Bill', Beatrix Kiddo, the album is heavily influenced by the artist's recent travels to Japan. This is evidenced by the single "Ego," whose video, shot in the streets of Tokyo, reminds us of the poetic and sensual atmosphere of 'Lost In Translation.'
