The downtempo legacy of Tosca endures. Originally released in 2005, J.A.C. is the fourth studio album by the Austrian duo, dedicated to their newborn sons, "Joshua, Arthur, Conrad". For its 20th anniversary, which also marks the 40th anniversary of !K7, it has been fully remastered and compiled.Between the release of their classic Dehli 9 and J.A.C., the two artists became fathers. As all Tosca albums evoke biographical events in the lives of Huber and Dorfmeister, the birth of their sons naturally required a dedication. J.A.C. is perhaps the most coherent synthesis of the two, the carefree and melancholic sound of Tosca.The melodies accelerate, the grooves are funky and laid-back, and the variety of musical styles is marked by a wide selection. Moreover, from 2003 onwards, Tosca became a full-fledged band, with live debuts alongside artists such as Earl Zinger, MC Farda P (Rockers Hi-Fi), and Graf Hadik. It is this new live experience and the growing interest in the digitally untouched sound of real instruments that most define the character of this flagship Tosca album, alongside the characteristic Tosca atmosphere.
