Tonbruket has forged a unique band sound between jazz, psychedelic rock, and neo-folk. Or perhaps it's just Tonbruket's unique interpretation of the word "jazz." Perseverance brings results – and sometimes produces things that just seem to keep getting better... like Tonbruket (it means 'sound factory'). The four Swedes have been making music together for 10 years now, and in their sixth album, "Masters of Fog," the band has done the musical equivalent of throwing a smoke bomb. Musical genres suddenly become indistinct and blurry. Tonbruket gives itself over to imagination, senses, and the intoxication of the moment. This rollercoaster ride brings with it an extraordinary intensity and a perpetually changing state of being. It's exciting, utterly involving. Tonbruket doesn't really fit into any category, except that their music is profoundly enjoyable.
