With Cycles, Tomos explores the different phases of a relationship through a boundaryless blend of jazz, disco, dub, broken beat, and deep house. Each track captures a specific moment in this cycle — from the spark of initial feelings to heartbreak, through seduction and the beginnings of a new start. Throughout the EP, trumpets, saxophones, and flutes intertwine with dub echoes, broken beat rhythms, and catchy disco basslines. Tomos's precise production ties these different elements together to create a record that naturally evolves between the energy of the dancefloor and the warmth of early evening. Following the success of his previous EP Soul Feels Good on Noire & Blanche, Cycles continues the exploration of the boundaryless musical universe that has become Tomos's signature — a blend of warm instrumentation, groove-driven productions, and a collage-like approach, deeply rooted in his early French House influences.
