Description

The contours of the record are simple and sincere. Sincerity is a compass for Tom Poisson: masculinity, the wrinkles at the corners of the eyes, the 47th president of the United States of America, Alzheimer's disease, the couple, joy, envy... That's the essence. In form, we find an image-laden and poetic writing rather than too explicit, but Tom knows how to take us by the hand to help us understand and touch it. Tom creates this new album by blending acoustic guitars with synthesizers but especially by surrounding himself with those he loves and has chosen. Colotis Zoé (Caravane Palace) & Alice Chiaverini (aka Malice) each offer a duet to Tom on the record. Paul Roman finely signs the arrangements on 5 tracks. Ludovic Bruni (Le Sacre du Tympan, Piers Facini...) and Denis Piednoir (director of Tom Poisson's previous album Jean-Michel) have chosen to take on the production of one song each. Alexandre Leauthaud (Les Fouteurs de Joie, Francis Cabrel) produces three tracks.
