Description

Tim Hecker is an outstanding musician from Vancouver, considered one of the great names in electronic music, blending numerous genres in his various productions, from ambient, drone, to modern classical music. In his twenty-year career, this architect of electronic music has collaborated with many artists such as Gospeed, Ben Frost, and Sigur Ros. His new album *Love Streams* is a new foray into ambient and experimental electronic music with classical orchestration but crafted in a melancholic way. The recording sessions took place between 2014 and 2015 at Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavik. Massively inspired by 15th-century choral scores, Tim Hecker enlisted the prestigious Johann Johansson for the vocal arrangements.
