A singer, musician, author, composer and producer nominated for the Latin Grammy, Tim Bernardes has also collaborated with Fleet Foxes, Tom Zé, David Byrne, Gal Costa, Devendra Banhart, Shintaro Sakamoto, and more. Tim emerged in 2017 as one of the most talented Brazilian artists of his generation, deeply rooted in Brazil’s lush musical heritage. Expansive and radiant, this long-awaited second album is titled Mil Coisas Invisíveis (A Thousand Invisible Things). Five years after his acclaimed debut with Recomeçar, Tim Bernardes invites us back into his singular sonic universe: warm, intimate, emotionally charged, healing. The album was mainly written while touring with O Terno, his renowned indie tropicália band. In early 2020, the new decade brought him a sense of change as he stepped back from touring and band life to focus on these new songs. The resulting work connects the cosmic dots of tropicália and samba with contemporary indie and folk; it is a generous and intimate moment, meditations on metaphysical transformation in the face of grave uncertainty.
