Thurston Moore, an emblematic figure of the alternative scene and former member of Sonic Youth, returns with his ninth solo album, Flow Critical Lucidity, under the Daydream Library Series label. Set for release on September 20, 2024, this album promises to enchant fans with its unique blend of psychedelic rock and sound experimentation. Flow Critical Lucidity was partly produced in Europe and the UK, drawing inspiration from nature, lucid dreams, modern dance, and the work of Isadora Duncan. Recorded at Total Refreshment Studios in London and mixed with Margo Broom at Hermitage Studios, this album is a true musical exploration. The album cover, created by artist Jamie Nares, a longtime friend of Thurston Moore, adds a captivating visual dimension, based on the work 'Samurai Walkman.' Among the standout tracks are Sans Limites, Hypnogram, and Rewilding, with a special bonus track, Isadora (Bedazzled Mix), included on a transparent flexi disc accompanying the vinyl versions.
