This Mortal Coil was a three-album studio project, conceived and produced by 4AD founder Ivo Watts-Russell, with the participation of numerous bands such as Cocteau Twins, Colourbox, and Dead Can Dance. The artwork has been reimagined by Ivo Watts-Russell and presented in a beautiful varnished gatefold edition. Significant remastering work has also been done from the original studio tapes. The deluxe CD editions bear the Ultimate High Quality Compact Disc label and were manufactured by Ichikudo in Japan to ensure high-quality printing and packaging.
