The London rock project Thirsty returns with God Bless America, a striking album that celebrates the life, work, and inimitable creative spirit of the late Guy Bailey - founder of the Quireboys, songwriter, guitarist, and architect of Thirsty's distinctive sound.Originally, this new album was an idea from Irina D and was intended as a simple tribute: Spike was to sing just one track, "10 7 and Possibly 6". But his first take stunned the entire team in the studio: Guy's guitar and Spike's voice came together with the force of rediscovered chemistry. What was initially just one song quickly became a full album, rich in emotion.
