Formed in Washington D.C. in 1995, Thievery Corporation was born from the association of two lovers of Jazz, dub, and bossa nova, weaned on clubbing. The meeting of Rob Garza and Eighteenth Street Lounge co-owner Eric Hilton marked the arrival of one of the most prolific duos of the 90s-2000s Trip Hop / Down Tempo scene.
