Neo-folk pioneers THEODOR BASTARD re-release their 2015 album 'Vetvi' and offer a new English version of the title track. Symbolically, the album title is the Latin transcription of the Russian word for "branches" and is meant to represent the ideology of the "world tree" that connects our earth to the heavens and the underworld. The title reflects the mystical art of the Russian collective, which transcends worlds by bridging contemporary sound with ancient traditions.
The improbable blend of modern electronic music and ancestral instrumentation creates an atmosphere that will transport the listener to an enchanting land, both dark and ethereal.
For fans of Heilung, Garmarna, and Wardruna.
