Sauce Piquante

Description

Homemade Lemonade had introduced the young Franco-Canadian Theo Lawrence and his band The Hearts in 2018, along with media buzz and a 150-date tour in France and Europe. “Sauce Piquante,” his second album, features Theo solo. The first single, “The Worst In Me,” blended swamprock and chic 60’s pop. “Petit Coeur” lets us discover for the first time Theo’s French-language side, flirting with Cajun influences. Recorded and produced in the southern United States by Mark Neil (The Black Keys), this album marks a more direct turn and a liberated simplicity in the songwriting. Between old-school references and modern production, Theo Lawrence revisits rock & roll, country-soul and Tex Mex music in his own way. The Mac Donald's ad sync on “Heaven To me” (No. 1 among the most Shazamed ads in May 2018) has been renewed until May 2020.
