Epistrophy, Crepuscule With Nellie, Off Minor...: the Monkian classics are once again reinvented, but it is indeed Well You Needn't that touches the sublime, in a version of over eleven minutes where the soloists parade like in a procession. With, as a bonus, Monk shouting "Coltrane! Coltrane!", as if to encourage him to deliver a memorable tenor solo. Which he did.
