The KVB is an English post-punk/shoegaze duo, active since 2010. The band began as a solo project by musician Nick Wood, and it was in 2011 that keyboardist Kat Day joined him. In 2012, the album Always Then was released. In 2013, the band released the album Immaterial Visions on City Trax, a subdivision of the MinimalWave label. Some of the tracks from this album were remixed by artists such as Regis, Silent Servant, In Aeternam Vale, and released on an EP called Immaterial Visions Remixes. Also in 2013, the album Minus One, previously available only online, received a proper release via A Records, the label of Anton Newcombe from The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Alongside an Australian tour opening for BJM, the two bands released a split single available only at merch. Today the band continues the adventure with this new record, Out Of Body, still in the vein of the best of The Jesus and Mary Chain, A Place to Bury Strangers, or more recently The Soft Moon.
