The KVB is an English post-punk/shoegaze duo, active since 2010. The group began as a solo project by musician Nick Wood, and keyboardist Kat Day joined him in 2011. In 2012, the album Always Then was released. In 2013, the band released the album Immaterial Visions on City Trax, a subdivision of the Minimal Wave label. Some of the tracks from this album were remixed by artists such as Regis, Silent Servant, In Aeternam Vale, and released on an EP called Immaterial Visions Remixes. Also in 2013, the album Minus One, which had previously only been available online, received a proper release via A Records, the label of Anton Newcombe from The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Alongside an Australian tour supporting BJM, the two bands released a split single only available at the merchandise stand. Today, the band continues their journey with this new album, "Out Of Body," still in the vein of the best of The Jesus and Mary Chain, A Place to Bury Strangers, or more recently, The Soft Moon.
