The London trio the XX is back with a new album! After XX (2009) and Coexist (2012), this third opus is set to mark "a new era for the trio" not only "musically but also in terms of the composition process," according to their label Young Turks. On their Facebook fan page, the band expressed themselves emotionally to announce this release: "After several years, very close or very far apart, with ups and downs, sorrows and reliefs, we are thrilled to announce the release of our third album I See You on January 13, 2017. In these uncertain times, we hope that all the joy and love we put into composing it will find its way into our world, however thin it may be."
