De Stijl: Named after the early 20th-century architectural movement and magazine, their second album was recorded in Jack White's comfortable Third Man studio, then located in the basement of his Detroit home. This is the album that launched their global fame. Covers of Son House and Blind Willie McTell wonderfully coexist with dark mid-tempo ballads and bursts of pure energy. Pressed on 180g vinyl and housed in an immaculate sleeve, this is undoubtedly the best version of De Stijl to be released on this format.
