"Under The Sun" is the new album by The Wanton Bishops, the rock band, but above all the vision of an eclectic man - Nader Mansour. The album is an exploration of identity and, ultimately, a love letter to his hometown of Beirut. It captures Nader's kaleidoscopic journey through a melting pot of musical influences; mainly pure hard blues-rock, but with shades of psychedelia, surf-rock, dance, as well as the Lebanese influences of Nader's hometown. "It's Lebanese rock," adds Nader, "a new genre, a model for the music of tomorrow. It's not fusion, it's confusion, it's not world music, it's world rock, for the world."
